Prismacolor Origins and Sustainability

Create an original art piece that explores the origins and history of Prismacolor as a company.

Incorporate elements that highlight sustainability, environmental consciousness, and the importance of protecting our planet.
Art Mediums:

You can use Prismacolor pencils, markers, graphite, or any other Prismacolor art mediums.
Eligibility:

Open to artists ages 18 and above.

Must adhere to the theme and guidelines.

Share your entry on social media using #Prismacolordesigncontest.
Submission Deadline:

All entries must be submitted by Friday, November 10, 2023.
Submission Format:

Submit your artwork digitally through the contest website (tab application).

Include a brief description (max 100 words) explaining how your artwork represents Prismacolor's origins and sustainability.
Judging:

Three expert judges will evaluate each entry based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall artistic quality.

Creativity: How uniquely the design depicts Prismacolor's Origin

Originality: The degree to which the new design showcases fresh and innovative ideas.

Reinterpretation of Prismacolor origin: How well the entrant captures the essence of Prismacolor and the sustainability concept.

Technique: The skill and craftsmanship demonstrated in the artwork.

Public Voting: In addition to the judges' scores, the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artworks on the contest website.
Prizes:

First Place: Your artwork will be featured on Prismacolor's Climate Pledge-friendly packaging, a $5,000 cash reward, a year's supply of Prismacolor art supplies, and a certificate of achievement.

Second Place: A Prismacolor art supply kit, a $1,000 cash reward, and a certificate of achievement.

Third Place: A Prismacolor art supply kit, a $500 cash reward, and a certificate of achievement.
Public Voting Period:

Public voting will be open from Friday, December 1, 2023, through Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Winners Announcement:

Winners will be announced on December 4, 2023, on the contest website and Prismacolor's social media channels.
